Like i said after that messed up weekend all that was left to do was drive back from North Wales to South London to pick up Isaac and Louise and head straight off to Cornwall to hook up with Rob and his brother. We stayed herehttp://www.presingollfarm.fsbusiness.co.uk/ and its got to be said this is the cleanest campsite in the world.
We only spent one night with Robs brother his Mrs & Son as they were at the end of there trip and we were at the beginning of ours but Rob & Frankie were still down for a while and Sevy & Victoria were due down any hour on a last minute decision to join us from Nottingham. Though we had a couple of days down St Agnes Beach, one of my favorite beaches in Cornwall, we took a ride out and stumbled on Porthtowan Beach. This is officially the coolest place in the world at the moment and had a great time down their. Days were spent chilling out on the beach sat by the vans having a couple of beers by http://www.blue-bar.co.uk/ and listening to music having a right laugh. It was perfect .

Turns out quite a few people with vdubs know of this place and i can only assume this is what Nequay was like 20 years ago.
So back to beach life, lots and lots of room even though its the last week of the kids summer holidays here.
Isaac loved it and even managed a dip or two.
We liked to get down the beach nice and early to secure a free parking spot right on the beach but most of all to cook breakfast down their. now i must admit myself, Louise and Issac didn't find this to hard (though i did drive down their one with Lou & Isaac still in bed) and Sevy & Victoria even managed but Rob & Frankie now that's a different matter. Sevy will tell you Rob & Frankie don't like early mornings and i still fell sorry for the fell who asked them to move forward a bit outside his surf shop GOD HELP HIM........
it was cool though as we could call on the girls to keep Isaac busy for an hour or two while we watched the fellas argue over who has the best BBQ lighting skills .
Next we popped along to see T3Lee Becky & Boys as well as my old chum Putney Mick for a night. They were camping down in St Ives and after an amusing drive down the sea front IN THE VANS we hooked up with them at there site and booked in for the night. now after the shenanigans of trying to navigate three VW T25 vans through St Ives town we decided to take the bus service from the campsite and had a quality night out in a pub over looking the harbour.
Putney stood next to a toy car hehehehe....
if you could bottle the ambiance from that place at night you'd be one rich puppy.
Next stop Land send then home after a mammoth 1000 miles plus week or so.
I still don't care what people say about these vans. For us all the time its sat in the drive i can look at it and think to myself we can go anywhere if we want to, now. for every penny you spend on them it will give you a priceless amount of freedom and memories in return.
Ive said it once and ill say it again you've got to love em haven't you .
